Robert F. Chase
Robert F. Chase was appointed as the Chair of the Board in 2002, after initially joining the Board of Directors in 1995. Mr. Chase was the President and Chief Executive Officer of New West Energy Services Inc. from 1995 until his retirement in 2010. From 1979 to 1994, Mr. Chase was associated with the Westar Group of companies in various senior financial executive positions. Prior to 1979 Mr. Chase was employed offshore in a senior management role with an international banking organization. He serves on the boards of several other public companies.

Mr. Chase graduated with the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Manitoba in 1969.

Wayne M. Bingham
Wayne M. Bingham joined the Board of Directors in 2007. Mr. Bingham is the Executive Vice-President and Chief Financial Officer of Superior Plus Corp.

He is a Chartered Accountant and has held senior financial positions with leading Canadian corporations, both regulated and unregulated, including: Vice President, Finance, Westcoast Energy Inc., Senior Vice President Finance, Union Gas Limited, and Chief Financial Officer for Ontario Power Generation and Finning International Inc.

Roy G. Dyce
Roy G. Dyce is President and Chief Executive Officer of Pacific Northern Gas Ltd. Mr. Dyce was appointed President and CEO in 1994 and has served as a director of Pacific Northern Gas since 1982.

He began his career with Westcoast Energy Inc. in 1966 in Westcoast's Engineering Department. During his 13 years with Westcoast, Mr. Dyce's main areas of responsibility were in corporate development, marketing and regulatory affairs. He was involved with the launching of Pacific Northern Gas in the late 1960s and joined the Company in 1980.

Mr. Dyce was born in Arthur, Ontario in 1945. He graduated from Ryerson University in Toronto, Ontario in 1966 with a degree in Chemical Engineering. During the 1970s, he was enrolled at Simon Fraser University in Vancouver, British Columbia in a B.A. commerce program and completed numerous accounting, finance and economic courses. In 1982, he completed the Executive Development Program at the Banff School of Advanced Management.

Mr. Dyce is a member of the Board of Directors of the Canadian Gas Association.

Diane M. Fulton
Diane M. Fulton is the Vice President and Chief Investment Officer of the Vancouver Foundation. Ms. Fulton attended the University of Toronto and earned an honours Bachelor of Science degree majoring in mathematics. She received a Masters of Business Administration degree from York University, with a major in finance.

Ms. Fulton spent the majority of her career in investment banking and was Vice President and Director, Corporate Finance at Scotia McLeod Inc. Following that, she was Executive Director, Investments of the University of British Columbia Faculty Pension Plan. She is currently a member of the Board of Directors and the Audit Committee of Ten Peaks Coffee Company Inc. She is also an advisor to the Investment Committee of the Insurance Corporation of British Columbia, as well as advisor to the Investment Committee of Pacific Blue Cross and B.C. Life. Prior board positions include the Insurance Corporation of British Columbia, Canadian Scholarship Trust Foundation, Pension Investment Association of Canada and the Vancouver Public Library. Ms. Fulton has completed the Directors’ Education Program at the Institute of Corporate Directors and earned the ICD.D designation.

Robert B. Johnston
Robert B. Johnston was appointed to the Board of Directors on June 3, 2008. He is the Executive Vice President & Chief Strategy Officer of The InterTech Group of North Charleston, South Carolina, one of the largest private holding companies in the United States. The InterTech Group is an affiliate of The Jerry Zucker Revocable Trust which holds a greater than 10% interest in Pacific Northern Gas Ltd.

Mr. Johnston holds a Masters of Business Administration degree from the John Molson School of Business as well as a Master of Arts degree in Public Policy and Public Administration and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from Concordia University. Mr. Johnston also holds the ICD.D designation from the Institute of Corporate Directors.

David G. Unruh
David G. Unruh joined the Board of Directors in 2003. He served previously as the Corporate Secretary of the Corporation from February 1994 to April 2002.

Mr. Unruh serves as a Director of Union Gas Limited, Ontario Power Generation Inc. and The Wawanesa Mutual Insurance Company. Prior to this, Mr. Unruh served as Vice Chairman of Westcoast Energy Inc. and Union Gas Limited, before that as Senior Vice President and General Counsel for Houston based Duke Energy Gas Transmission and, before that as Senior Vice President, Law and Corporate Secretary for Westcoast Energy Inc. Mr. Unruh practiced corporate and commercial law in Winnipeg, Manitoba before joining Westcoast Energy Inc. in Vancouver, British Columbia in 1993.

Arthur H. Willms
Arthur (Art) H. Willms joined the Board of Directors in 1983. Mr. Willms is the retired President of Westcoast Energy Inc.

Prior to joining Westcoast Energy Inc., Mr. Willms was a public school teacher in Alberta and later became a lecturer in Economics at the University of Calgary.

Mr. Willms joined Westcoast Energy Inc. in Vancouver, British Columbia in 1971 and spent 29 years with the company in various roles culminating in being named President of the company in 1993.

During his career in the field of energy, Mr. Willms served on numerous private and public boards and served as Chair of both domestic and international trade associations.

Mr. Willms is currently a member of the Board of Directors of Angiotech Pharmaceuticals, and Chair of the Vancouver Symphony Society.

Mr. Willms holds a B.A. in Education, a B.A. in Mathematics and a M.A. in Economics.

Janet P. Woodruff
Janet P. Woodruff joined the Board of Directors in 2006. Ms. Woodruff is Vice President and Special Advisor of BC Hydro. Prior to this appointment, Ms. Woodruff worked for the British Columbia Transmission Corporation as Interim President (2009 to 2010) and Vice President, Corporate Services and Chief Financial Officer (2007 to 2008).

From 2003 to 2007, Ms. Woodruff held the position of Chief Financial Officer & VP Systems Development & Performance of Vancouver Coastal Health. Prior to joining Vancouver Coastal Health, she worked for Westcoast Energy Inc. serving in various positions including Chief Financial Officer of Engage Energy and Vice President, Business Risk Management of Westcoast Energy Inc.

Ms. Woodruff is a Chartered Accountant and has an honours Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Western Ontario and a Masters of Business Administration degree from York University. She received the Institute of Corporate Directors designation in 2009. Ms. Woodruff is currently on the Board of Directors of the Mutual Fund Dealers Association of Canada, and previous directorships include: the Canadian Electricity Association, BC Business Council, Junior Achievement of BC, the Foundation for Fighting Blindness, Chatham/Kent Health District, and the Ontario Natural Gas Association.
