Robert F. Chase
Robert F. Chase was appointed as the Chair of the Board in 2002, after initially joining the Board of Directors in 1995. Mr. Chase is the President and Chief Executive Officer of New West Energy Services Inc. (previously Lexacal Investment Corporation) based in Vancouver, BC. From 1979 to 1994, Mr. Chase was associated with the Westar Group where he ended in the position of Senior Vice-President, Finance and Chief Financial Officer. Mr. Chase also serves on the boards of other public companies.

Mr. Chase is a graduate of the University of Manitoba and was educated as a Chartered Accountant.

Wayne M. Bingham
Wayne M. Bingham joined the Board of Directors in 2007. Mr. Bingham is the Executive Vice-President and Chief Financial Officer of Superior Plus Corp..

He is a Chartered Accountant and has held senior financial positions with leading Canadian corporations, both regulated and unregulated, including Vice President, Finance with Westcoast Energy Inc., and Chief Financial Officer with Union Gas Limited, Ontario Power Generation and Finning International Inc.

Roy G. Dyce
Roy G. Dyce is President and Chief Executive Officer of Pacific Northern Gas Ltd. Mr. Dyce was appointed President and CEO in 1994 and has served as a director of Pacific Northern Gas since 1982.

He began his career with Westcoast Energy Inc. in 1966 in Westcoast's Engineering Department. During his 13 years with Westcoast, Mr. Dyce's main areas of responsibility were in corporate development, marketing and regulatory affairs. He was involved with the launching of Pacific Northern Gas in the late 1960s and joined the Company in 1980.

Mr. Dyce was born in Arthur, Ontario in 1945. He graduated from Ryerson University in Toronto, Ontario in 1966 with a degree in Chemical Engineering. During the 1970s, he was enrolled at Simon Fraser University in Vancouver, British Columbia in a B.A. commerce program and completed numerous accounting, finance and economic courses. In 1982, he completed the Executive Development Program at the Banff School of Advanced Management.

Mr. Dyce is a member of the Board of Directors of the Canadian Gas Association.

Diane M. Fulton
Diane M. Fulton is the Vice President and Chief Investment Officer of the Vancouver Foundation. Ms. Fulton attended the University of Toronto and earned an honours Bachelor of Science degree majoring in mathematics. She received a Masters of Business Administration degree from York University, with a major in finance.

Ms. Fulton spent the majority of her career in investment banking and was Vice President and Director, Corporate Finance at Scotia McLeod Inc. She is currently on the Board of Directors and Investment Committee of the Insurance Corporation of British Columbia. She also serves as a director of the Pension Investment Association of Canada. She is a past Trustee and past Chair of the Finance, Planning and Operations Committee at the Vancouver Public Library.

Robert B. Johnston
Robert B. Johnston was appointed to the Board of Directors on June 3, 2008. He is the Executive Vice President & Chief Strategy Officer of The InterTech Group of North Charleston, South Carolina, one of the largest private holding companies in the United States. The InterTech Group is an affiliate of The Jerry Zucker Revocable Trust which holds a greater than 10% interest in Pacific Northern Gas Ltd.

Mr. Johnston holds a Masters of Business Administration degree from the John Molson School of Business as well as a Master of Arts degree in Public Policy and Public Administration and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from Concordia University. Mr. Johnston also holds the ICD.D designation from the Institute of Corporate Directors.

David G. Unruh
David G. Unruh joined the Board of Directors in 2003, and served as the Corporate Secretary from February 1994 to April 2002.

Mr. Unruh retired from DukeEnergy Gas Transmisison as Senior Vice President, General Counsel in 2003 and continued as Vice Chair until April 2005. Prior to his move to British Columbia to join Westcoast Energy, Mr. Unruh practiced business law in Winnipeg, Manitoba most recently as a partner of Aikins, MacAulay & Thorvaldson, Barristers and Solicitors.

Mr. Unruh was born and raised in Manitoba. He attained his B.A. in 1966 and his LL.B. in 1970 from the University of Manitoba and is a member of the Manitoba Bar Association and the Canadian Bar Association. In 1979, Mr. Unruh was awarded an honorary Certified General Accountant degree.

Mr. Unruh also serves on the boards of other public companies.

Arthur H. Willms
Arthur (Art) H. Willms joined the Board of Directors in 1983. Mr. Willms is the retired President of Westcoast Energy Inc.

Prior to joining Westcoast Energy Inc., Mr. Willms was a public school teacher in Alberta and later became a lecturer in Economics at the University of Calgary.

Mr. Willms joined Westcoast Energy Inc. in Vancouver, British Columbia in 1971 and spent 29 years with the company in various roles culminating in being named President of the company in 1993.

During his career in the field of energy, Mr. Willms served on numerous private and public boards and served as Chair of both domestic and international trade associations.

Mr. Willms holds numerous other directorships including the BC Lotteries Corporation, Angiotech Pharmaceuticals, Pristine Power, and Chair of the Vancouver Symphony Society.

Mr. Willms holds a B.A. in Education, a B.A. in Mathematics and a M.A. in Economics.

Janet P. Woodruff
Janet P. Woodruff joined the Board of Directors in 2006. Ms. Woodruff is the Vice President, Corporate Services and Chief Financial Officer of British Columbia Transmission Corporation .

From 2003 to 2007, Ms. Woodruff held the position of Chief Financial Officer & VP Systems Development & Performance of Vancouver Coastal Health.  Prior to joining Vancouver Coast Health, she worked for Westcoast Energy Inc. serving in various positions including Chief Financial Officer of Engage Energy and Vice President, Business Risk Management of Westcoast Energy Inc.

Ms. Woodruff is a Chartered Accountant and has an honours Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Western Ontario and a Masters of Business Administration degree from York University. She is currently on the Board of Directors of the Foundation for Fighting Blindness, and previous directorships include: Junior Achievement of BC, Chatham/Kent Health District, and the Ontario Natural Gas Association.
